Blessings to Judge Young & to Steven Beschloss for speaking out on the atrocities of the Trump regime.

WOW What a wrap up for free speech. The judge sure slammed into the tyrant and the response to the coward who sent the post card. Yes I suppose freedom of speech is the first amendment , cause without that freedom nothing else seems to matter .

Freedom is an essential American value. It may soon be hard to maintain at our current trajectory.

I am tempted to read all 161 pages of this decision - it's so good. Also, I love that he has responded to his spouses comments. Makes me wonder with all these court cases against this administration - at what cost to us?? Maybe that's why he insists on firing people from the gov. They need the money...

Freedom of speech is what defines governments as democracies, to a large degree. But for those folks who have nothing to say, it's an abstract that they believe has no consequences on their day to day.

With that being said, Judge Young's statement is a historical document.

Thank you, Steven, for bringing to light such powerful thoughts and words. They were mostly absent from even the blue MSM, at least from what I've seen.

Excerpt from your article

Ronald Reagan

“Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction.

It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people.”

Judge Young’s words and decisions DO give me some Hope.

My questions based on the Judge’s comments on immunity:

- Will we ever be able to end or modify the decision of the John Roberts Court to extend to a President such broad Immunity Powers which Trump constantly uses to excuse his actions, or will we be able to hold him accountable for any of those that do not follow the Law as Official Duties?

AI Overview

The U.S. Constitution does not explicitly mention or define presidential immunity from criminal or civil lawsuits.

The legal concept has evolved over time through judicial interpretation and is primarily rooted in the separation of powers doctrine.

This was confirmed by the Supreme Court in the 2024 case Trump v. United States, which addressed a former president's immunity from criminal prosecution.

The Supreme Court's 2024 ruling established a three-tiered framework for evaluating presidential immunity from criminal prosecution:

Absolute immunity for core constitutional powers.

The president has absolute immunity for official acts that are within their "conclusive and preclusive" constitutional authority. This includes actions related to the "Take Care" clause and the president's role in foreign relations.

Presumptive immunity for other official acts.

For other official acts that do not fall under core constitutional powers, the president is presumed to have immunity.

➡️This presumption can be overcome if prosecutors show the prosecution would not endanger the executive branch's authority and functions.

No immunity for unofficial acts.⬅️

Former presidents are not immune from criminal prosecution for actions deemed unofficial, or private.

Thank you

Judge Young has written the beginning of our retribution for Donald Trump: And aren’t we lucky we can express ourselves similarly? Problem is that we need to pick up a lot of steam and keep this going. Media: Are you listening?

So let's use our Inalienable and Constitutional Rights of Free Speech, Assembly and Redress of Grievances against abuse of power by Executive Branch Department officials from the top on down into the ranks to Modernize our Constitution to fix the current abuses and ro prevent their recurrence.

Freedom of Speech is a cornerstone of what it is like to be a true American.

I am sure that there have been other times in our history when disagreements became contentious, but it seems that we were able to(at some point) to respect the differences and keep the dialog flowing. There was also a moral center that was present in the country that no longer exists. But perhaps this is pie in the sky too - a moral center if you were white, male and Christian. Not so much if you were anything or anyone else. But having a convicted criminal in the highest office in our land and to see the corruption that flows like sewage from it - not once but TWICE makes me fear that we will never be what we could or should be.

"neither our Constitution nor laws enforce themselves, and he can do most anything until an aggrieved person or entity will stand up and say him “Nay,” i.e. take him to court."

This is what too many of us, complacent in our former well-being and relative prosperity, forgot while pursuing our normal lives. And to which we remained oblivious while the enemies of freedom filled these very courts with their own creatures. We kept quiet, expecting someone else would take care of it. After all, the system was working pretty well. Now it's up to We The People (at least the sane portion who remain) to use all the means at our disposal to halt and reverse the destruction of our country. Awaken! Arise! Resist!
