Hubby and I reach 2 weeks after the second dose tomorrow. Also tomorrow, our oldest child is eligible. My youngest, an Army lawyer in Seattle, won't come home until everyone is vaccinated. After more than a year apart, it is looking like there could be a reunion in June. I still wear a mask in the office, when hiking, when pumping gas and in stores. Haven't been in a restaurant in a year. I can't even begin to imagine normal.
My husband and I are vaccinated being over 65. My friends also. My mother and daughter who has an autoimmune disease. We still wear masks. My older children are getting vaccinated. Hopefully by June we all will be and able to spend time together. Hoping to have Thanksgiving all together!
Yes, my husband and I are now fully vaccinated. I ate in a restaurant with a fully vaccinated friend for the first time in a year yesterday and we talked about the trauma of the past year (or 4) and its lingering effects. We will continue to mask up until the CDC gives the all clear. Thank you for using your voice to encourage and inspire. I appreciate you.

My husband & I both vaccinated! We just visited our first great grand baby, with masks, & hand washing. Our joy is boundless.
