First of all, she had the courage to walk into the lions den. She took on Fox. Let’s see the traitor go on MSNBC.

It is obvious Baier had no intention of letting the Vice President get her point across. For any person at Fox to refer to themselves as a journalist is an insult to actual journalists.

Meanwhile, the traitor did a town hall on Univision with Latino undecideds. He reiterated his lie that immigrants are eating dogs and cats. Why did he say that? Because “that’s what I heard.” The President of the United States, or someone running to be president, does not repeat what “he heard”. You verify the veracity of “what you heard” first. I nuked Moscow because “I heard” they were going to nuke us. He’s very presidential.

I agree with Steven. Women will notice his battering interruptions as abusive and rude and offensive. Typical MAGA tactic. But Kamala met the barrage of interruptions with strength and courage without becoming hateful or cruel. It was marvelous how she handled it all.

Excerpt from Steven’s essay:

“…But I am sure that, beyond Harris’ tenacity, toughness and compassion, some women viewers noticed Baeir’s constant interruptions as she tried to answer the questions…”

This excellent performance (yet again) should put to rest the infuriating narrative that she’s ducking the media. She has absolutely soared over every faux bar set for her by of the “critics.”

Kamala Harris's performance displayed in this one event will resonate with, dare I say, ALL women navigating this world. It certainly does with me as a PhD scientist. The biggest offenders were those with similar backgrounds. i hope that the resonant frequency this creates in listeners translates to changes in votes. Kudos to Kamala for this brilliant move.

Harris put Trump's weakness on full display during her interview on Fox. He's afraid to debate her again, he was afraid to do the 60 Minutes interview. The only place he'll put himself out there is at his rallies in the comfort of his adoring MAGAts, or on Fox News where they only ask him softball questions. But even in those settings, his weakness and insanity is on full display for anyone honest enough with themselves to see it.

I imagine orders came from above for him to be rude & contradictory. I was pleased to see Kamala's aggressiveness. She is very capable of holding her own.

Yes, Mr. On High began complaining and attacking Fox hosts by name as soon as the interview was announced. The interview is unlikely to change any faux news loyalists. However, we don’t know what independents will take from it and how many places clips will be viewed.

Indeed, a win. Hope there’s another Fox “interview” when she might ask “Why would you constantly interrupt me, but never interrupt Donald Trump?”

Rupert Murdoch learned decades ago that lies pay better than truth. He's racked up $19 Billion in retained earnings from peddling adrenaline pumping lies. Fox News isn't news. It's a corrupt propaganda platform for the autocrats. Putin and Orban provide talking points. See RT.com for evidence of the anti-America bias.

For Donnie, a lie is like a gold watch or an invisible trading card. Spout a creative lie and the money rolls in. "The election was stolen. Send me money to stop them!" earned him $250 million in the days after the 2020 election loss. $250 million is a hell of an incentive to continue to lie. One lie = $250 million. Historic fraud success!

What if the Trump Campaign for President is all a big fraud project for money? Sure looks like it. Donnie is only playing a candidate for office. It's all an act. He's not a wise political leader with good ideas and policies for America. Donnie just says crazy shit and millions of fools send him money. The Press goes along with the scam, knowing the truth. Donnie is hoping no one finds out.

Here's a recent red flag for his fraud/scam/grift/con game:

Yes, which is why JD Vance was chosen as his running mate. Trump is running for the money and the immunity of the office. Once he gets the DOJ to drop his cases, he’ll either be escorted out via the 25th Amendment or he’ll feign some illness and then Christian Nationalist Vance takes over.

I keep seeing this from Dems as though the threat of Donnie, Project 2025 and their collaborators isn’t bad enough. Who really thinks he’d put people in his cabinet that would go along with it? It isn’t new. This is the same stuff people said about Kamala Harris being on the ticket as VP. And yes, the Lincoln Project likes to play head games with Donnie. I think Dems are just the collateral damage in this “some people say” game.

The 25th Amendment, Article 4 addresses the process. First:

— Section 4.

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.—

Then in case his Cabinet was all in for JD, there is a process for the elected president to appeal to Congress. The process begins in 21 days after Congress convenes.

— Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office. —

Medias also found that 2 of the 4 at the town hall in PA who asked questions (before the musical interlude) were former GOP candidates. All 4 read their questions from note cards.

We should remind people that RT = Russian television network controlled by the Russian government. Many years ago it began infiltrating American news, often via small radio stations who were $truggling. Consumers of this ‘news’ were not told that the Russian government was the source.

More recently the Biden administration cracked down on their activities.

Moving beyond radio, social media became Russia’s weapon of choice.

You'd think men would know better than to interrupt Harris. The scenario I relish is the couple watching this, the man going on about uppity or talky or similar women, and the wife having a quiet revelation--boy YEAH.

A win. I think plenty of Fox viewers heard things they have NEVER HEARD BEFORE living in that FOX MAGA Earth 2 bubble. That alone is a win. VP Harris was NOT the cartoon character they’ve painted her to be. She was strong and smart and Presidential even if viewers didn’t agree with anything.

Also yet another sad and pathetic example of how masculinity in MAGA world = BULLYING. Bret B was nothing but a performative bully acting for an audience of one. Praying he stays on Trump’s good side.

Meanwhile Trump continues to hide in hand picked MAGA crowds who allow him to rant and rave “or sway to music for 40 min” without pushback or challenge with THE TRUTH.

I know. SO shady of him to cue up that incorrect ‘example’ - her in-time call out was the best part of the interview. The ad should clip that entire part and then show what he really has been saying.

Harris remained knowledgeable and firm in this interview. Bret Baier was rude and determined to crack her comments and conversation in the usual Fox method. He was thoroughly unattractive and impolite. Bret would never have done this to a MAGA supporter or head. Bret must have been selected to do the interview since he would handle the interview in this nasty way? Baier is such a wildly admitted Trump supporter that he has bought a $30 million mansion very near by MAL in FL. A “love fest” for sure. Bret was doing a favor for his pal, Trump! Bret’s job is very secure.

If nothing else, I hope the Fox viewers will have been impressed with the intelligence, composure and confidence with which Kamala Harris handled the "interviewer's" constant and deliberate interruptions.

Women, as Steven has mentioned, will have taken particular notice.

Steven, you accurately point out what I think will be Trump's final argument in the last days of this election. "The enemy of the people is within". In 2024 this election's "caravan" will include all Democrats, the Justice Department, any Republican that has turned against him, and of course our leader Kamala Harris. It includes journalists, media hosts, authors, everyone on this and other sites like it, who have the courage to speak the truth about the true danger within...Donald Trump.

I have no doubt that November 5, 2024 will be a historical crossroad for our Democracy.

It's not as though Baier's conduct was unanticipated either by VP Harris or any thoughtful person in or outside her camp. Indeed,Baier tried to 'win' the 'interview'. He was clearly not ready for prime time. His pathetic attempts to badger, misdirect, and talk over VP Harris made him and Fox News as an entity look weaker and less prepared than if Baier had simply posed his 'gotcha' questions and let her answer. Conversely, his conduct allowed her to clearly demonstrate her strength and cool command of adversarial situations.

Whether or not the VP moved any votes into her column, this was clearly a strong strategic move for the her.

What I saw last night was not a journalist conducting an interview. Kudos to Kamala for going into the lion's den and taking them on. She definitely got her points across despite the atrocious behavior of the interviewer. If Fox watchers can't see that she is by far the most competent and capable candidate, they are only fooling themselves.

It really was more of a debate, with Baier serving as proxy for Mr. Trump. It is sad that a so-called "news" organization is so willing to blatantly carry the water the most partisan politician in our almost 250 year history. Last night, Fox shed any notion that it is nothing more than an a propaganda arm of the Republican party.
