The incongruity, the cognitive dissonance that Trump-loving anti-vaxxers necessarily harbor is simply mind-boggling. He said the virus was a hoax, and they bought it. He bragged about how great and successful his “Warp Speed” vaccine development program was, and they bought it. Then he caught it, got seriously ill, was saved by sophisticated medical technology not available to the average citizen, and they hailed him as a conquering hero. He got vaccinated, quietly, while he and his political and media supporters railed against vaccination, decrying it as unsafe and an assault on personal liberty, and they bought that, too.

How long can they continue to concurrently harbor such diametrically opposed beliefs before their heads explode? And how long can they continue to believe what the orange menace says while ignoring what he does?

Uhm, I believe that you are actually lying about wo is vaxxed and who is not.

Bloomberg ran this article

Asian Americans Are Most Vaccinated

Group in Majority of States: Covid-19 Tracker

https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/covid-vaccine-tracker-global-distribution/us-vaccine-demographics.html

This paragraph blows your take apart

At least 65% of Asian people have been vaccinated, on average, in states that Bloomberg is tracking. That compares with 45% of White people with at least one dose, 40% of Hispanics and 34% of Black people. In New Mexico, New York and Washington, more than three-quarters of the Asian population has been covered.

I write about all this kind of stuff, like race, culture, life at riclexel.substack.com

WTF are you talking about? I wrote absolutely nothing about Asians or any other race.

Oh ok, "trump loving anti-vaxxers"?

Code for deplorable white people?

30% of health workers are not vaxxed, all white supremacists?

Your complete refusal of an open mind that asks qustions is scary, especially when coupled with your uncritical adoration of any point of view as ling as ia opposite the bad orange. You do realize whats on the horizon in 2022?

And bte, do you write here on substack? Did you spend any time at all reading my content prior to making your comments? I disagree with beschloss but still read his stuff

There you go again. Jumping to completely illogical conclusions, based on nothing. Anyone who doesn’t agree with you doesn’t have an open mind. Anyone who calls you out on your irrationality and your inability to distinguish between credible information sources, propaganda, and ill-sourced half-cocked conspiracy theories, doesn’t “ask questions.” I have a background in research and logical analysis, and I know the difference.

Ok, I'll indulge.who do you mean, specifically, by trump loving anti vaxxers? I got mine, akd i have convinced skeptical friends to get theirs.

So who exactly do you mean is not vaxxing? The bloomberg piece broke it down by race, which is what you meant but just didnt have the guts to say what you mean. Your moral superiority is disgusting

Amen, so true, I thank g d everyday for those such as you speaking truth, especially truth to power. Yours and others insiteful much needed historical perspectives also are so important and valuable. Warning us of the dangers as a lighthouse leading to safe port and signaling those aspects of history that should never be repeated. I also believe as with the power of learning from history that justice and accountability needs and must be truthfully admonished and administered, without consequences these behaviors as with history will also continue and repeat. Learning nothing from this abject untruthworthy part of history.

The media and other people who are disseminating false and harmful lies need to be stopped and held to account. If not by the law, by karma. Imagine what they have to be telling themselves when they look in the mirror. What an ugly, deadly game they are playing.

The lies, the anger & the selfishness are all a result of many years of psychological manipulation by people (Vlad Putin, his operatives and a bunch of morally bankrupt Americans) who want to pit Americans against each other as a strategy to divide & conquer us. I think it’s important for people to understand that this is the context in which it’s being done. Otherwise it’s just plain bewildering, confusing & disorienting.

Fox News commentators are dangerous hypocritical beings regarding the vaccine and other issues. They are speaking to (mostly) pathetic people who are just happy to belong to a group. Any group.

I actually agree with you on this point, repeating a big lie over and over gets millions of people to believe it. It happened for the last five years with Russiagate and collusion. Read anything by Taibbi https://taibbi.substack.com/

I write about a lot of the same things at riclexel.substack.com

I will comment on you banning me at a later time

The lie about Russiagate was those denying it, when the evidence was clear in the Senate reports. But you didn’t read them, did you? Of course not.

Dude, not besting a dead horse here, but do you even read Taibbi, Greenwald or Tracey? The media lies about collusion and russiagate are in omain site. The irony of your denials are particularly delicious given the title of the post you gush about.

You’re living proof of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Those three jackasses are more guilty than those they accuse. They’re as bad as Trump and Barr, lying about what Mueller’s report actually said (assuming they even read it, which, judging from their commentaries, is doubtful).

Funny how you like to project your own faults onto others. And again you show a complete lack of knowledge and logic. Again I ask did you even read the Mueller Report or the Senate sub-committee reports on Russian interference in the 2016 election? If you did, you would understand the tons of evidence, and maybe begin to grasp the idea that lack of indictment does not mean exoneration. Do you not even realize that Mueller was constrained NOT to indict a sitting president? That there was enough evidence to indict otherwise? Who do you think “Unindicted Co-conspirator 1” is?
