I had confidence that this day would come. And it's the first of several such days. After years of getting away with things, Trump will finally face justice.

I WAS WRONG! I never thought Garland would do it. And I am anxious to see who the conspirators are!

I still want to know why the delay was sooo long

from the time AG Garland was confirmed to when

he hired Jack Smith.

Also why he never charged any of the crimes that Mueller outlined. Those crimes were thoroughly investigated and ready to charge on his first day. But hopefully the J6 STUFF is yet to come!

I would also like to know if DOJ plans to prosecute any of the senators and reps who helped plan J6 or if DOJ intends to prevent them from running for reelection pursuant to the 14th amendment.

I don’t think DOJ should be out there giving a press conference. That’s not how they should operate. They are quietly and secretly doing their job. However, the cult environment that Trump has created is working to his benefit right now. The important point is that DOJ will present its case in the appropriate way, in the courtroom. For now we have to trust that doing things the correct way will work in the long run.

Two impeachments, two indictments & it will still be a Republican Rally Round the Don Fest. Gotta keep that base.

Lest we forget, there are more Democrats than Republicans in this country,& we are dead set on keeping them out of office.

I am thankfully glad school is out so no MAGA nut càse can seek revenge . I would advise everyone to stay away from crowded events, and hope for civility with

July 4th fàst approaching.

God bless America !

Lots of talk on tv news that DOJ hasn’t made any statements and is thus allowing Trump to drive the narrative with his bluster and lies.

I'm fine with DOJ letting the indictments speak for themselves even if sealed until then. Speaking out before could feed the claim of it being political. That so many Republicans are whining also without having seen the indictments shows who is really interested in making political.

Bravo, Jack Smith! We are finally setting a new course. Every time Trump rants about the "politicization and weaponization of the DOJ," he needs to be told that the decision to indict came from a jury of twenty American citizens. I hope journalists mention this fact every time they talk about this indictment and every indictment to come.

Today is a great day for Justice, although it’s been delayed the accountability begins.

So grateful we finally have an indictment that really matters. I will be nervous until the trial is over and he is convicted. I am terribly afraid that even though the government will present absolute clear evidence, the jury may not convict. That would be horrible. So it’s not time to rest. However, this is a good step. And thank God, it has happened!

I am waiting for an official statement from DOJ. Perhaps we can pop open the champaign for Friday brunch. l do not trust anyone who is reporting on "reliable sources" but yet of course do not identify who they might me. I feel this is lacking in journalistic integrity. I do not feel there are many leaks coming out of DOJ. I believe Garland and Jack Smith run a tight ship. My official reliable source is the DOJ. I do wonder whether the judge in Florida who will hear this case was appointed by a Democrat or someone in the gop. I just hope if this is true, djt is denied bail with his phones and laptops taken away from him. He's a danger to society in his extremely manic calls on "Untruth" Social for funds to fight his defense (an FEC violation) and his calls to his right wing militias to "fight like hell. It will be wild". DeSatan might be needing to grow up and put the state National Guard on stand-by as Florida allows open carry.
