Steven, your categorization of Trump is exactly correct: Toxic Trump:

Excerpt:

“At New York’s Madison Square Garden, meanwhile, Donald Trump not only served up his usual toxic flood of slurs, lies and ridiculous, empty promises, he had a nasty parade of surrogates preceding him. They attacked a make-believe image of the vice president and insulted the very groups they say they want to vote for them.”…————-

Contrast that with Kamala’s words:

“To all the friends here, I say, let's be intentional about building community. Let's be intentional about building coalitions. Let's be intentional about understanding we all have so much more in common than what separates us. We will be the better for it. That's what our campaign is about—because we know we are all in this together.”——

Prayers for our people, country, our Democracy!

"Toxic Dump" would also work. The Biden administration began the Superfund cleanup of the mess Trump created. The Harris administration will expand on it and then some.

I really could not believe the reports I was hearing and reading about Trump's rally at MSG. If this was his closing message, God help us if he manages to win this election. Stephen Miler said, "America is for Americans and only Americans", as Trump's and Vance's wives, both immigrants, sat there in tacit support of this racist and hateful rhetoric. And Trump's reference to Speaker Mike Johnson about "their little secret" seemed to be a nod to a plan to they've hatched to make sure the election gets thrown to the House, where Republicans have a majority, and could deliver the election to Trump despite the actual results.

Have you seen the Lincoln Project's newest ad? A year or even six months ago, I would have said it was too melodramatic. Not any more. https://youtu.be/fMjhl9jxrug?si=Imf_ioeGo6p28gLA

Yes, that hasn’t gotten much attention. It would explain the “confidence” the campaign exudes - which is also a bit of disinformation. The little not so secret plan is another reason people need to get off the couch and make their voices heard by voting.

Those are trump’s words. He & Mike Johnson have a “little secret plan.” Given Johnson’s involvement with the lawsuits & efforts not to certify Biden’s election, we can figure out what it is likely to be.

If no candidate wins the electoral vote or if enough state electors are challenged — & the challenges are upheld by both chambers - the election results goes to the House. Each state gets 1 vote in the House no matter their population or number of Representatives.

If there is a Hitler analogy it would be:

• Hitler didn’t get enough votes to be president. He came in 2nd with 37%.

• He sued over the results, alleging voter fraud.

• His case was dismissed by the court.

• Hitler as the leader of the largest party in the German legislature was in line to be Chancellor. But the president refused to appoint him.

• He used the nazi party votes (37%) in the legislature to obstruct the president who was forced to use emergency decrees.

• Eventually the president caved and appointed him Chancellor and Hitler had his foot in the door to take power without winning an election.

Michelle Obama along with Kamala Harris are among America's greatest orators. But that categorical title is still pretty much confined to men (try a google search. You may get some sufferage leaders from 100 years ago.)

As a woman it makes me so proud to see them lead the way to save our democracy. "I'm speaking, America. I'm speaking." God willing, enough people are listening and voting accordingly.

What a motley crew of speakers. Racism and law breakers; rancid entertainers and noise makers.

I can’t help but wonder what “Dr.” Phil thought he’d gain by being there. This is a guy who gave up his professional license to be an entertainer; used the title “Dr.” as he rode Oprah’s coattails. His stated purpose was standing up for trump supporters who are marginalized etc. or basically feel intimidated. (At a trump rally?) He further acknowledged that he knows nothing about policy or politics. Considering some of his TV advice & this MSG appearance, there are many things he doesn’t know.

I see one of the other speakers is now being sued by the Philadelphia DA. The Musk “lottery” is being challenged. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/10/28/philadelphia-da-sues-elon-musk-pac-to-stop-1-million-lottery-for-voters.html

A song keeps running through my head. Ray Charles sang it: America, I love you America, you see My God he done shed his grace on thee

And you oughta love him for it, 'Cause he, he, he crowned thy good He told me he would, with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea. Oh Lord, oh Lord, I thank you, Lord.

So, Ray,you are surely up there in some holy choir. Please, on November 5th, remind Him of His promise.

Our country must be saved from this low life, low class group of MAGAs and their leader. WE the People deserve more and greater! But, if WE want it, then VOTE for it! This toxic environment is bad for our family, our friends, and our good government.

WE have been warned so take it or your life will change and revolve around it! You have been WARNED every time the MAGA leader performs. Trump is nothing but an entertainer and toxic con-lying man! Do you want to spend your years with that classless, disengaged man? Send him back to his resort in Florida! VOTEs count!

As we reel from the hate-filled Nazi-themed Madison Square Garden viciousness that occurred over the weekend, let's revisit the hypocrisy and cowardice of the immigrant billionaires who are fueling and funding this American Nazi movement with its constant harping on some kind of non-existent racial purity. Here's billionaire coward Jeff Bezos on his immigrant Cuban father: "My dad came here from Cuba all by himself without speaking English when he was 16 years old, and has been kicking ass ever since. Thank you for all the love and heart, Dad!" And thank you, Jeff, for selling out your country to feather your own stinking nest.

Can we take another look at the stellar cast of speakers at the Bund rally 2.0? Obviously, the best Trump can offer: an unfunny comedian looking for laughs and a real mustache, Dr. Phil, a superannuated Hulk, Elise Stefanik (always on the lookout for naughty replacements) and Stephen Miller who has learned from millennia of Judaism to pick on minorities … from afar. Best of the best, America in all its Klannish glory, singing out hallelujahs of hatred. “All in the Family” meets “Twilight Zone.”

The astounding, horrendous irony is that in our democracy, Trump and ilk are free to spew their vicious hatred; but in a Trump dictatorship, any protest will be harshly dealt with!
