Please accept my deepest sympathies. I hope your country recovers from this. We will never forget.

“I'm empty and aching and I don't know why

Counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike

They've all come to look for America

All come to look for America

All come to look for America…”

Answer - Yes, please! I can't even put out my flags today; nor do I see any neighbors putting theirs out. But good news - the heat has canceled don and his unholy armed guards and family. NONE of it will be televised or celebrated. I hope they cancel the fireworks too. I hear that the smoke from this big bang will smother VA, DC, MD. We can wait til November 3, then this do nothing Congress should stand up where they sat down on July 4. Trump will NOT triumph, nor will any of his lamebrained ideas. We are NOT hitler's Germany! Let's go full speed ahead to ignore and shut down the Worst president in US History!

Your last two sentences - can see posters now - NOT 30's GERMANY - VOTE. If memory serves, one reason he supposedly 'won' that election is because so many did NOT vote.

Great idea for a poster! Think I'll design mine TODAY.

I put my little flags out because my neighbors did and mostly because they both are having celebrations with small grand children. Little people need good memories. I'm happy to be part of their good memories.

The main thing I'm going to celebrate today is with my wife - it's our anniversary. For over 40 years we have always celebrated that and our country's birthday, but living under this regime, where tonight (and seemingly every day) it will all be about him, it's hard to celebrate the founding of our nation. At least we have each other, our family, our faith (we'll go to synagogue this morning) and our friends. Come Nov 3rd, we'll celebrate our country.

Happy Anniversary 40 years, I’m told is quiet the accomplishment. (But I’ve been with the Mrs. For 32 years now.)

Happy anniversary!

Thanks you Steven: Yes spread the word, join forces, hide folks in your attic, remember past times in various countries when the oppressors rounded up folks to be eliminated. The nation is on the abyss , Don't take anything for granted, never just count on the polls, don't let the despotic administration hamper your vote. Vote en masse, don't allow the ICE agents or anyone marauding around the polls hamper your right to vote. Register early, Know where you vote. this is one election that has got to be massive. This November the third will be your new July 4, 2026. I just know my southern neighbors will overwhelm the dictatorial despotic regime. Please turn my feeling of a 85% turnout into a reality. I know you can do this. God bless the American people.

Thank YOU, Neighbor. Have stated sooo many times - we MUST vote in numbers too large to question outcome and that vote has to be against the current regime (sp?)

Spot on , Blue all the way.

If you’re in North Texas, help us out at www.ntxvotes.org, where we have more events today for voter registration than we have volunteers. If you can’t join us, consider donating to help us pay for supplies and maybe some day pay our full time organizer.

I am headed out to a local farmer’s market soon to set up. Can’t think of a better 4th of July celebration.

My current home is in senior affordable housing, but it is in a beautiful mansion on the bank of the Delaware River in a small town. The first floor of the mansion is ‘common area’. That makes us a community and not just a building. Today we will have a party, we have them on every possible occasion, including Philadelphia Eagles football games. It’s an opportunity to spend time together, to share a meal, prepared by the hands of a majority of residents. It will be bittersweet for a majority of us, but there are a few who are supporters of the regime. Politics is not discussed or debated in these times, because we must live peacefully every day.

I am celebrating 250 by flying my red, white and blue and displaying military flags and bunting. I will not let the imposter usurp our symbols. They DO NOT belong to him. I will continue to move forward to separate our nation from the grift, hatred, separatism, vitriolic spew of the narcissist in chief by speaking truth and VOTING! Happy 250 America! Happy 4th Steven and America, America! May our amber waves of grain continue to wave in our liberal democracy.

Steven, November 3rd is a great visual. Thanks for the inspiration.

I plan to wear red, white, and blue to the polls on Nov 3rd. If I can work a Virginia state flag in there somehow (maybe as a bandana), I will do that also. SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!

We will celebrate today and remember the courage and determination of our founding fathers on this day 250 years ago as they declared their independence from a dictator king. Yes, even more will be the celebration on Nov. 3 as we can also declare our independence of an autocratic despot!! Happy 4th of July to all the people living in America!

And to our American family who fled from this regime on Nov 3rd we can welcome them home (after the Orange baffoon leaves🙏🏽

We can turn this ship around and right it again!

There are 328 million of us in this Country

245 million are eligible to vote

174 million are registered to vote

75 million voted for this chaos last time

Let's get those slackers registered while there's still time!

Thank you Steven Bechloss for walking us home!

The “sweetness” of us “overwhelmingly” turning out and defeating this regime in the next elections - is our goal.

Thank you for the reminder with this statement, Steven:

“I also hope this day might still be a chance to rewind 250 years and remember that the revolutionaries seeking independence were confronting an oppressive, tyrannical monarchy.

And that same fighting spirit can be a source of energy and optimism now.”

I am celebrating this day regardless of those who are trying to steal the light. Shun them and celebrate today as an opening salvo to the November election.

I like and appreciate your outlook Steve. We can celebrate the ideals of our country and our firm resolution to do our part to strengthen and correct existing flaws and at the same time realize that we are far from perfect. It is the struggle towards the ideal that counts. Let us never forget our aspirations so that we can enable future generations to continue the never ending marathon towards a just and free society where all human life is valued not merely by existence but by their quality of life. Let us be united together in our resolve and not let divisiveness and hatred keep us from doing our part.

Thank you, Mr. Beschloss. November 3 may be all we have left.
