Watching the news with the Epstein girls, now women, reminded me of Miss America, Marilyn Van Derbur. That courageous woman disclosed in 1991 that her father had molested her for years. Her disclosure started a movement among those of us who had been molested ourselves. It was an energetic time of deep healing and moved me forward in my own journey. I was fairly active in the recovery community during my time in Wisconsin. That was before it was even called recovery. The work I did as an activist back then knocked me out; and It took me years to recover. I've learned a lot along the way. The process is long and arduous and deserves to be honored. I hope that our congressional leaders will rise to the occasion in support of those who were personally impacted by the current child trafficking. And kudos to the brave survivors who dare to speak out. Courage continues to exist in our culture.

I stand beside them! Mace cried. Mace ran. Mace abused them herself. Mace did not sign the discharge petition. Mace then made a statement supporting Trump! Once sexually abused as children, the abused speak out telling us ALL we need to know. Call your Congresspeople. These abused speakers have the abusers’ names. Trump is clearly a complicit abuser. Have no doubt about that. There is much more to expose with this administration. Look at another of their coverups just days ago! https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/vegas-joint-ops-child-sex-decoy-stings?r=3m1bs

Thank you, Steven, for again justifiably honoring the Epstein victims and underscoring yet again the need for Truth, all of the Truth.

If Trump is/was truly innocent as he claims, and had a morsel of humanity, he would have invited those 100 courageous women, their attorneys and the Press inside to meet with him. Instead, he left them out in the hot sun, while he insulted them while inside claimingl it all is a hoax.

This horror, now appears to envelope the scope of an international criminal enterprise.

RICO??

Thank you so much for your clear, incisive, and in that respect comforting writing in this terrible time in our nation’s history!

Hopefully, Trump will be named publicly and definitively as the sexual predator that he is for all the world to see. And then there will be a way for the country and the world to be shed of him at long last!!!

Here in Georgia, even those people who voted for MTG are sick of Trump, and she knows it. I am astounded that she is standing with Epstein survivors, but we know she believes Hillary Clinton and Bill and Obama and other Democrats are on the list. The question is: what will she do when DJT's name is included? probably go radio silent. I hope she surprises me.

my concern is that a limited military action could be used as a pretext for a broader conflict. See Gulf of Tonkin

Recent events show heightened tensions between the U.S. and Venezuela. The U.S. has increased its naval presence and conducted a missile strike on a boat it claimed was carrying drugs from Venezuela. The U.S. government has designated various drug cartels as "foreign terrorist organizations," framing its actions as part of a broader effort to combat these groups.

In response, the Venezuelan government has viewed these actions as a pretext for a potential invasion and has deployed its own troops. While there is no public indication of a planned land invasion, the comparison to the Gulf of Tonkin underscores the concern that a limited military action could be used to justify a wider conflict.

A war with Venezuela would certainly distract from the Epstein cases

What is stopping the Epstein victims from releasing the names? One would have to believe that it’s the same fear that has kept them quiet for so many years. I’m not optimistic that the names, unfiltered, will ever be released. Of course there would be names from both sides of the aisle, but Trump has already shown his hand by stating that he doesn’t want to drag innocent people through the mud. This has never stopped him before so you have to believe he’s one of the “innocents”.

The list will be compiled by the victims, but released by the Congress members. Individual victims are fearful for their lives and the lives of their families, but there’s no way the regime can intimidate the 100s of women who were abused without the world knowing about it.

This is one of your most intense writings. One I need to save. As an educator, the story that struck hard was the one they tried to fly 600 children out of the country illegally. This is despicable. People need to get real and face the truth of what sick, powerful people will definitely do. Unless regular people band together and get smart, it will continue. Stop corruption.

We, the People, have brought us to this place. The Supreme Court has brought us to this place. But here’s the thing. We have the power to change our minds. This regime is not set in stone, despite the fact that the Supreme Court has sanctioned Trump’s worst impulses and the strategy of unleashing the kind of power that would tear our country and democracy apart. Okay. The table has also been set for the worst of the worst to continue sanctioning crimes against women, and to commit crimes wherever they see fit. The boat murder was truly a metaphor for this administration. Strike to kill first, ask questions later. 1984. The truth is always a lie…a democrat lie.

We are going to have to ask ourselves, if no institutions hold to protect us, what we are willing to sacrifice in this coming civil war…a war of ideas that we will have to wage with our wits and our inner strength. The ‘coalition of the willing’ will have to band together to protect our citizens from the impending harm, with the help of collaborative governors. The states will have to protect us by providing safe haven for health care and diversity. The states will have to take up the mantle of democracy after it disappears. The states will have to take up the mantle of the rule of law. And We, the People, will have to support those who tell the truth. Because this ‘civil war’ will ultimately be not only about democracy, but about truth.

I am appalled our Armed Forces are so puny we have to kill everyone on a little boat that might have drugs aboard. We need real men who know how to intercept a suspect boat, investigate and hold those responsible when they are IN OUR COUNTRY. Our forces are not even as good as pirates. Big Guns - No Balls.

New Mexico took steps to ensure access to Covid vaccines last week. One of the first, if not THE first to do so. Yet, New Mexico was not mentioned in your article.

I believe nine states in the Northeast are doing something similar. According to the Boston Globe for Sept. 3: "Massachusetts is in the midst of coordinating a regional public health collaborative with every New England state — save for New Hampshire — as well as Pennsylvania and New Jersey." Meanwhile, my governor (I'm in MA), Maura Healey, announced that every resident over age 5 would have access to COVID shots. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2025/09/03/metro/healey-covid-booster-massachusetts-trump-kennedy-vaccine-2/

The United States is being turned inside-out and upside down at the will of Republicans. We witness a lawless pervert at the helm of Executive Branch and a cabal of useless cowards in the Legislative. Pederasty is vile and disgraceful at any level. Sex with children, girl or boy, leaves an indelible imprint on the victim for life even if not consciously expressed or talked about.
