This is our 2nd election cycle that mail in voting will not be considered by my husband and I. We will again vote in person. We will wait in line as long as needed. To me there is no ceiling on the value of even one human life.
I looked up the average value of potatoes: The average price for a pound of fresh small or petite potatoes (such as baby red or yellow creamer potatoes) ranges from $1.00 to $2.66 per pound, depending on whether they are bought loose by weight or in pre-packaged 1.5 to 3-pound bags.
And to my immense shock there is an actual attempt to quantify the value of a human life!

The "hoax" to which T...p often refers is actually about himself. The war is only a "big deal" if he deems to call it so. Or if he declares we've "won" much the same as George W. Bush declared about the war with Iraq.
Is this "small potatoes? Hell no! Like T...p's first term and now his second, the residual effect of this war will be felt for years to come. The sadly and resultant damage to Iran alone, not to mention the U.S. standing in the world, the assault on our society and its democratic norms, the dismantling of our government to assuage the rich and create incredible damage to everyone else, these are after-effects that cannot be denied.

His pronouncements that cause the stock markets to crater and then miraculously jump in value (did I hear the term "inside trading"?), the bribes and amoral moves to benefit his rich buddies, his acquiring filthy amounts of money in profits from his side hustle, cryptocurrency, these are topics for discussion now and in public during the campaigning for the midterm elections. We need those running for office to unseat collaborators and supporters of this maniac to boldly and forcefully speak the truth so that the "legacy" media as well as others to repeat this for the wider public to hear.
No, this is a big deal. To his detriment he's put himself in quite the corner and become a target for needed ridicule and open and aggressive language to ensure the word gets out: He's a crook, and despite what Richard Nixon's pronouncement that "if the President does it it's not against the law", given a wished-for landslide there will be an impeachment. Will the third time be the charm? One can hope.

China and Russia are assisting the Iranians. Russia and China know the US arsenal is depleted. The Gulf states are decimated; the military bases are non-functioning. The Naval logistics are operating out of Thailand and the island Dego Garcia in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The naval assets are stressed to the max. Iran has been made stronger; they don't mind dying for their deplorable cause. Trump has a couple of hedge fund fraudsters trying to work out complex world problems. The secretary of Defence is unqualified to run a day care, yet he is strutting around sucking back his testosterone trying to become a man.
