I'm having trouble accessing these YouTube links - they both lead to black screens. Don't know if this is on my end or not...but I just get so suspicious after what happened last weekend with Meta shutting down the No Kings Instagram account during their mass early voting event.
Maybe, just maybe, out of these inexplicable times, Americans will develop a healthy skepticism about ascribing more intelligence, talent, or wisdom to the wealthy. And learn to question in whose interest the wealthy are acting.

At age 83, I can recall a time when events above were rare, caused house and senate universal inquiry and condemnation. Now it happens so often that the news cycle forgets yesterday's corruption and reports on the next days without missing a beat.
When I think of Musk's huge contributions to campaigns, an old Beatle song comes to mind... "Can't buy me love". Economic woes are making citizens to think more carefully about who is running for office. Musk put 5 million dollars into Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign. Thanks for helping him lose.
We're seeing the core change of the so-called "Reagan Revolution" -- the top tax rate reduction -- come to fruition with the emergence of a handful of billionaires controlling our lives and making us all miserable. Aside from asymmetric violence, the only way it will change is when a watershed occurs and enough people get tired of the constant exploitation and abuse.
I’ve just finished Rick Atkinson’s book “The British Are Coming” and am reminded of the incredible sacrifice so many Americans made to free ourselves of tyranny. Towns and Colonies spontaneously formed militias to protect their freedom. The MAGA crowd has forgotten why this country was formed. The Republican congress has turned its back on our founding principles and accepted trump/musk as their new king. If we all VOTE, the midterms will bring Democrats to power so we can begin to rediscover our soul. First order of business should be to nationalize Starlink and ban billionaires from buying votes
This. Because Musk is as much a threat to the US as any enemy nation due to his influence buying power and his control over many of the services that the US government uses.
