Adam Mockler showed this live, and I was infuriated by the audience members who were jeering at a reporter who asked a question. Then that pos Vance said "That's ok, there are biased reporters in every state." Then someone fainted and pos Vance used that as an excuse to get out of there. Who are these morons still supporting this regime?

The ones who bought gold phones. Makes them easy to pick out.

Oh, wait.... ; )

Steven, all these rides are making me carsick. Enough already ,or provide a barf bag.

Let’s see, how many scams can Trump lead before the sun rises in my Chicago home?

I mean you must admire the chutzpah in this administration. Their ability to change their disastrous deeds to mind-blowing accomplishments is..is..sickening.

Distraction is the operating word of Time for Trump to Corrupt.

Looking around for a target to tag, that is easiest to cast dispersion upon, JD, while auditioning for Trump’s warmed-over seat, put a bullseye on anyone’s name that ended in a Y. Any one who is not a colorless, straight shouldered boring asshole.

Immigrants! Ingenuous.Too attractive. Too sympathetic. Too needy? Aim, shoot, or shove into Concentration (oops) low cost prisons redecorated as motels?

What a wimp, JD. You’ll never become President. You and your ass-licking (I’m 87. I’m allowed.) routine have become stale. Ugh. President? Check to see if Federated Garbage Men of America (okay, it’s made up) is hiring.

A plus. How can you meet maximum distribution? Can you just send your essay to some mailing list the way ads go out? With an attention grabbing headline? Does constant comment help? Can you get mailing lists or ask local politicians to distribute? Or even send to local papers?

JBR's avatar

Other send headlines with link to essay. And ask people to distribute. Maybe send to mayors or state reps. And some will probably subscribe.

JBR's avatar

Abd maybe do something where you read the essay like a lot of sibstacks.

JBR, how kind to offer these suggestions for getting my deranged paragraphs out in the public eye. I do have some 600 followers on Escapades by Elaine Soloway, and others who read me on Facebook. But if you can tidentify a source who will pay my rent, a hug will come your way.

JBR's avatar

Dont know paying customers but sending essay to broad distribution will undoubtedly elicit more subscriptions. Like advertising. Cast your bread upon the water. Ill bet TV would pick it up and viewers would respond. Same with newspapers. Share with political leaders and give permission to distribute noting your rates. Just a thought.

7You're hired! Make me famous. But hurry; I'm 87.

JBR's avatar

I forgot you have distribution to over 100000 people. Presumably others will republish or will ask you to speak.

Elaine,

I carried a sign with JD's picture on it at the last NO KING Rally that I attended. It said "BOOT OR ASS-LICKER, YOU CHOOSE!" I had people stopping that were driving by that opened their windows and told me, "Now that is a hard choice"!

That is ONE CREEPY DUDE!!!!!

JD Vance has changed his name so many times that he has no clue as to who he actually is. That’s why he can lie with no guilt, and take others along for the ride.

Shameless.

And it's especially shameless those who stood behind this charlatan with their signs and supported his lies. They have no soul left to sell - which makes me wonder if they got paid to do this.

Outstanding and with a personalized style; an informative article again: This time enumerating the theft committed against us, the taxpayers, while disgustingly claiming they are fighting fraud.

If we had a strong, central group of leaders they would have already done the right thing for the common good. The power and the finances should not have been handed to someone falling asleep in meetings and having improper behavior. Would businesses allow allow a part-time high school worker to talk and act like this working minimum wage? Next question.

Those holding signs and those jeering were Republicans. They may have been paid to hold the signs and harass journalists, but they believe in the Republican platform. If they do not have wealth, it is because their neighbor must be getting more from fraud. They cannot comprehend the massive fraud by the Trumps, because they cannot understand the difference between a dollar and a million dollars. They only know they don't have it and someone lower on the rung got their share.

I cannot even pretend to possess a modicum of fair-mindedness at this moment. The STAGGERING corruption of these people has me seeing red while Trump is pocketing green. I have, of late, been trying to live my life with a minimum of emotional disruption from Trump’s antics, but the last few days has turned the fury up to high. Trump sues his own government. He puts his personal attorney in charge of deciding whether to open the door of Fort Knox by raiding taxpayer funds right and left in the form of an IRS settlement from his ridiculous lawsuit. Said settlement will give him and his kids relief from any kind of IRS audit going forward. Said settlement will allow him to gift the grift to any and all admirers, thieves, and knaves who claim that the Justice Department under Biden ‘unfairly’ prosecuted them. These days, it pays to be an insurrectionist and it may very well become one of the highest paying jobs going forward.

The midterms are coming…and so are the goons. Vance is the band leader with a remarkably narrow bandwidth. He sings a familiar tune to all of us. We know it by heart and we are good and sick of it. The question is, how can we light a fire under Congress??

We are living in a time of extreme non-democratic transition. These are obvious tactics from a European authoritarian regime from the 1930's. The tactics have been reignited because they work. It's very easy to pull the wool over the eyes of people already blinded by the necessary hate of "others." As our corrupt government knows all too well, it's easy to get 30-40 percent on board, especially when this group has zero knowledge of even 20th century history. The turnout in November must be huge.

I hold the hope there is a tipping point between “He’s so smart/right and good for America” and “How stupid does he think I am.”

GingerLee's avatar

How did that group really react? Anyone interview after the fact? Who's hand goes all the way up jd's spine to operate his mouth... this is truly bizarre...it's time for us/US to distract them ..let's keep throwing their garbage at them and I don't mean jd and couches I mean truths dressed up in eye catching clothes...they all have low hanging fruit in that regard...begging us to grab...they and their names will become descriptors of what not to do... JDisms, Trumpisms, Melaniaisms, etc etc etc...waking up to this shite every day takes its toll... apologies

It must be me?? How can anyone believe we are going to have a legitimate Midterm Election?? We’re more likely to have an American Citizen revolution!

Steven Beschloss's avatar

The larger the turnout, the harder to steal the election.

Bob W's avatar

Steven…I sure hope so!!!

W.J. Gallo's avatar

It's not just you. I have strong doubts but have to maintain some hope.

"Did this mean he was going to take his boss into custody...."

Hahahaha!!! Nobody believes these clowns any more, for anything! Like, nobody would be fooled any more into spending $100 for a gold, branded phone, right? Right? That would REALLY make one look like a fool.

$590,000,000 later....

Take some solace in the faces of those holding those Protecting Taxpayer Dollars signs. They look miserable, skeptical and bored. None of that eyes and grimaces of fire and hate in trump's usual crowd. Chalk some of it up to what a joke Vance is; chalk the rest up to Americans who have seen trump and his gang for what they are: liars, cheaters, thieves and buffoons. You can only fool the people for so long before they catch on. It's only 171 days until November 3. There will be a reckoning. Vance is a washout, has no chance of becoming president and is in many ways pathetic. Grimace-worthy. The people are catching on.
