In the latest episode of 'Six Questions,' Miles Taylor explains the threat from Donald Trump, the preparations underway to thwart the attacks and how we the people can ensure our voices are heard
Thanks Steven & Miles:: Great enquiries ... All I know it is going to take a massive voter turnout, no sitting this one out. Drag four or five folks with you. Pay no heed to the Ice gestapo agents. Be a poll watcher , Don't engage in a conversation with the gestapo. Know where you are voting, register early. Don't vote republican , they are not running, the majority of republicans are MAGA. Flood the ballot boxes with blue. The more blue the better the odds of saving your democracy, constitution and the rule of law. Put people in the house and senate who will serve you and send the retired GOP members packing . The GOP is not serving you, they have bent to the dictator's will.
I'm inclined to watch these interviews based on previous knowledge of the subject. But no more! I didn't know Miles from Spinoza before and now I know both a little better. I may have missed a half hour of enlightening talk had I not been willing to trust Steve to deliver the goods.
Another superb Six Questions, Steven! I really like Miles’s context and analysis on events and how to follow through to ensure our democracy stands. Thanks for this series.
Made me think about the American 🇺🇸 Revolutionary War, when we were the Taliban 🇦🇫 and the British 🇬🇧 were us. Also, I’m now thinking about watching ‘The Patriot 🎥 ‘ again.
Well the Spinoza shout out was a surprise! I highly recommend The Courtier and the Heretic (Leibnitz and Spinoza) to anyone interested in Spinoza. There’s much to admire in Spinoza, and the book is a fascinating narrative, non-academic.
We're on our way. We are fired up and ready to fight. We are willing to put our votes on the line, to declare, "Hell no; we won't go!" down that crooked path of election rigging. Stand in long lines. Bring water to share. Bring someone to the polls who needs a ride. Vote by mail. Be a sentry and protector (vets: are you up for it?) We can do this!
I was away blissfully but had the privilege of viewing tonight- resulting in 7 pages of notes. ☺️
I adore that the overall “feeling” is a chance for victory in the next election in-spite of aggressive attacks on many fronts.

In the state of Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose turned over all the voter registration data of approximately 8 million Ohio residents to the federal government. In February 2026, LaRose complied with a data request from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), making Ohio one of several states to fully comply with the federal review. Which really makes me entirely disgusted.
All the while Frank LaRose as an election denier is a subject of ongoing debate, as the Ohio Secretary of State officially acknowledged the 2020 presidential election results but has faced persistent criticism for adopting rhetoric and enacting policies that validate election denialism. Even though Ohio requires a physical paper backup for every single vote cast electronically and Ohio is officially designated as a "paper ballot state," which means that 100% of votes cast must have an immutable, physical paper record.
Is there anyway come the 2026 Midterms that Frank LaRose could deny the voter turnout for the seats being flipped in both the Senate and Governor offices to being a Democrat?
Get that this would go to probable litigation if the election by the top official is negated but this eventually causes more suspensions as to the processes of voting. At this point it’s very difficult to place the trust of our democratic process in the hands of such nefarious politicians who have the offices by even the sheer fact that they were elected to them.. the dog continues to chase its tail. Even as poll worker there are doubts as to those who will tabulate the votes for the final outcome.
