I can’t begin to describe how hopeful and truly joyful these across the board election results have made me. We won’t have to live in “Pottersville”! Hallelujah!!! “Bedford Falls” has been restored. We are all “Clarence”…and the bells are ringing.
Now is the time for both accountability and restoration…and they are one and the same. There can be no restoration of this great nation without accountability. If we have to elect a different Speaker, let’s do so without further ado. Don’t spare the horses! We narrowly missed the annihilation of our democracy. “Let’s Go.”
We must have Justice. Jeffries response to an overwhelming victory and his recent meeting with Kushner is tone-deaf. Jeffries cannot "read the room". That makes him incapable of moving America to Justice. Bringing corruption to a halt, ridding this country of ICE and standing 100% behind Ukraine will smear the taint of Trump and the Republicans. Affordability will be difficult with Trump's War, Trump's Tarrifs and Trump's ballroom/golf course/arch. Those all must be ended, but recovering the grift will not be done quickly. Therefore we need new voices leading us so those who voted for change can actually feel they can trust the Democrats to deliver.
We cannot allow Jefferies to be the speaker. He is an awful choice. We want justice and we need him to step aside and find someone who will give the American people what they deserve.
