The incongruity, the cognitive dissonance that Trump-loving anti-vaxxers necessarily harbor is simply mind-boggling. He said the virus was a hoax, and they bought it. He bragged about how great and successful his “Warp Speed” vaccine development program was, and they bought it. Then he caught it, got seriously ill, was saved by sophisticated medical technology not available to the average citizen, and they hailed him as a conquering hero. He got vaccinated, quietly, while he and his political and media supporters railed against vaccination, decrying it as unsafe and an assault on personal liberty, and they bought that, too.

How long can they continue to concurrently harbor such diametrically opposed beliefs before their heads explode? And how long can they continue to believe what the orange menace says while ignoring what he does?

Amen, so true, I thank g d everyday for those such as you speaking truth, especially truth to power. Yours and others insiteful much needed historical perspectives also are so important and valuable. Warning us of the dangers as a lighthouse leading to safe port and signaling those aspects of history that should never be repeated. I also believe as with the power of learning from history that justice and accountability needs and must be truthfully admonished and administered, without consequences these behaviors as with history will also continue and repeat. Learning nothing from this abject untruthworthy part of history.
