But this latest effort strikes me as a sickeningly vivid illustration that America is being led by a traitor who despises our Constitution and betrays our most sacred rights as Americans.
I would add to A Pat’s comment above to help your friends and neighbors of color by accompanying them to the polls, provide rides to those in need, volunteer at your polling station.
How did we get here? I would argue that the Supreme Court, with its own brand of sycophancy and cowardice has led us to this place. If Trump did not feel emboldened by this court, he would not be trying to impose his will upon our sacred act and responsibility of citizenship. I have long said that voting is the most important RIGHT, not privilege, that we have and that any attempt to interfere with or take away our right to vote is a deal-breaker for democracy and for this country. Voting allows us, for now, to keep a finger in the dyke to stop the flood of authoritarianism that seems imminent. If we have no vote, we have no voice. If we have no voice, we have no democracy…full stop.
Oh really! It was clear years ago that trump was a corrupt racist businessman who used violence to enrich himself.
It was clear years ago that he tried to violently overthrow the govt and there were no repercussions.
The Republican congress is knowingly complicit to keep power and money that goes with it.
The supreme court is knowingly complicit in eviserating rights of those who try to enforce the law, as tho stealing public funds is OK because the president purportedly has the rights of a brutal monarch.
Citizens are being illegally tortured.
They describe democrats as vermin.
The list goes on.
What is not clear?
We have a country of corrupt, anti democratic investment banking company conspirators.

The brutal fascist govt won ... years ago.

The solution is a massive continuing relentless daily vocal coordinated opposition, protest and mobilization.
They are killing innocent people with no repercussions. Same for democracy.
They view people who need medical care as corrupt fraudsters.
