With that state of mind, he would take America to a place it has never been since 1776. The only two things that will save democracy this time around are: VOTES and vote vigilance. Personally, I do not even care who the democratic nominee is, some may not feel like I do..but this time, it is not the man who will save us, it is the vote.
They will try to cheat, some are already plotting scenarios. And we can no longer count on the Supreme Court, they failed democracy by choosing sides.
People need to understand what is at stake here, the French (including me) did recently when they rejected populist, Putin loving Le Pen, VOTES count. So vote blue!

He has always wanted to have all the charges dropped. The shooting gave him an opening to ask for it, he won’t get it from me. The fact that he was shot at doesn’t make him a different person, he’s still exactly the same law breaking criminal he’s been since his father got him out of trouble in the beginning.
Any calls for unity will be well received-even disingenuous calls. In the spirit of unity, Trump will state that prosecutors drop all litigation against him (he even tweeted this in so many words). If they were good at chess, they would have challenged Trump this work, up to today, offering examples of unifying policies, like on reproductive rights or Ukraine.

And I am trying get others to predict what Trump will say--after the shooting, it was easy for me to write that Trumps call for unity would be for all criminal charges to be dropped. Biden should have announced examples of unity and called on Trump to join him on certain policy proposals, like gun control, (bump stocks, red flag laws) the border, environment, women's' health care, etc. Knowing full well Trump will say no, our version of 'unity' is being lost, even though MAGA proposals, like Project 2025, are not supported by a majority of this country.
I am told that experienced hunters always see to it that their optical scope is properly aligned and sighted in before heading out for the day.. Had their patsy been one of the afore mentioned that day would have gone much differently. And where is the reporting of the R nominee reaching out to the families of those killed and injured? I saw the video, not a single person seated behind the podium scattered out of fear for their safety.
